Yes I agree, a bundled software might be annoying, but checking the comments/posts/conversations on Autohotkey, this is not a virus and nothing accidently added. It was added intentionally fo finance/earn money and since he offered a "decline" button and text, so everyone is informed about the extra software, it is not considered as anything malicious. This Info is only about the Installer Version.ĮDIT 2: On the Autohotkey forums (pulovers macro creators (or PMC) is basically a GUI for this) the dev of PMC said that the bundled software is no adware. I don't know about the portable Version, since I didn't use it. Here is a screenshot of it, how it looks like during installation. Especially because when I did these recommendations about Pulovers Macro Recorder, it didnt have any bloatware back then.ĮDIT: I am talking about the "Adaware Web Companion" offer you can decline during installation. It is just too hard to find all my old posts to edit them. So, be careful and read everything when installing. (Someone digged out one of my 1-2 year old posts where I recommended Pulovers Macro Recorder and commented on it, that the software was no good anymore).īut it looks like you can decline the bloatware installation offer during the installation. Ah since you mention this: It seems like the Dev built in a bloatware offer to his installer.
